I've just contracted my latest novel with Silver Publishing -- this was a labor of love, and one well worth it. My husband told me that he thinks I did to zombies what Stephanie Meyer did to vampires. I don't think he meant it as a compliment (since he's not the fan of Twilight that I am), but I take it as one. I happen to like all vampires -- the good, the bad, and the ugly. Zombies are no different.
But can a zombie be sexy? Would you want to get naked with one and do nasty things to him? Before you scream "NO!" -- let me take you on an adventure where a zombie really can be sexy.
Grace Jones is a government employed zombie killer. As a member of the elite Zombie Investigative Agency, she spends her days ridding the world of lower zombies. Her 9 to 5 gig is turned upside down when she’s assigned to head a team to investigate the zombie mafia’s red brain project. One of the members of her team is an ex-lover and the other is a zombie.
Ethan Waters is a zombie. Different from the brain sucking and savage lower zombies, Ethan lives the more sophisticated life of an upper zombie. But he is also different from many among his own kind.
Choosing to feed off the brains of pigs rather than humans, Ethan turns out to be the perfect compassionate foil to Grace’s often emotionless slayer. Together, Ethan and Grace battle the zombie mafia, have hot sex, and also find love.
As soon as I have a cover and a release date, I'll post them. For now, let me leave you with my PROMISE that Ethan is worth the wait . . . and a little evidence that if it can be done to vampires, it can be done to zombies:
