A Fabulous Week in Review

This last week has been an amazing one!  I have been so fortunate to have realized the fruits of many days and nights of hard labor.  Okay, well writing for me isn't exactly hard labor -- but I have enjoyed several successes that are the product of many hours of doing something I love to do!

As you know, this week marked the release of not one but two new releases.  On Monday, May 24 my debut novel "Have Stake, Will Travel" was released from Noble Romance Publishing.  It can be purchased here:  https://www.nobleromance.com/ItemDisplay.aspx?i=132

The very next day on May 25, my short story "Tea Time" was published by Ravenous Romance as part of the Once Upon A Threesomes Anthology.  It can be purchased here:  http://www.ravenousromance.com/anthologies/once-upon-a-threesome.php?flypage=0  The folks at Ravenous Romance describe my story as "a triple lesbian story right out of "Mad Men[.]"  WOW!  This anthology is current both Number 1 overall and the Number 1 anthology!!

In other publishing news, I signed a contract this week with Breathless Press for the publication of my erotic legal short story "Behind the Bench."  Given my day job as an attorney, this story is very dear to my heart.  I'm excited that everyone will get to read about the encounter between Judge Stephanie and the powerful defense attorney Clayton Jennings!  I also plan this to be the first in a series of erotic legal shorts to be published with Breathless Press.

I am also in the midst of signing a contract with another publisher for my M/M steampunk novella "The Outlaw."  I've said it before, but it's worth repeating -- I love Damian and Kell.  I hope that everyone else falls in love with the  Bringer and the Outlander too!!

On a personal front, my oldest daughter just graduated for fifth grade and it starting MIDDLE SCHOOL tomorrow!  I do not remember being as excited about it as she is!  In her honor, I plan to start a weekly blog post dedicated to her art work.  She did such an amazing job with the initial depiction of Orion Masters (the vampire slayer in my novel "Have Stake, Will Travel") I'd like to share more of her work.

I will also be starting a bi-weekly guest blog soon!  There are so many amazing erotic and erotica writers I've met recently and I want to introduce them and their work to you all.  Stay tuned for details!!

Wow, now that I've written this blog post I realize what a busy week it has been!  Here's to many more!!

Aloha!!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!

Yes, Yes, Yes.  The day has finally arrived.  I can hardly believe it myself, but it's really here.

My debut novel -- "Have Stake, Will Travel" -- is now available from Noble Romance Publishing.
https://www.nobleromance.com/ItemDisplay.aspx?i=132

This has been a long and interesting journey.  Orion Masters, vampire slayer, has become a real person to me.  Almost like an alternate identity.  She a feisty girl that knows what she wants.  Now, she finally finds it on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.  Julian Hunter is a super sexy vampire who also knows what he wants.  And he takes it.  Watch out for the hot, steamy sex that ensues!

Yeah, I am so happy I'm dancing!!  This is fabulous!!!!

Woo hoo :)

Cover Revealed!

I'm so happy to reveal the cover for my debut novel, Have Stake, Will Travel being released this coming Monday, May 24, 2010 by Noble Romance Publishing.

Here's a short blurb:

Orion Masters is no ordinary slayer, she's a dhampir--half vampire-- and
uses her superhuman abilities to her advantage.
After all, a girl's gotta make a living.
But her life takes a dramatic u-turn on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The balmy nights of paradise hold a forbidden temptation. Hot, steamy sex with Julian Hunter.
Like Orion, Julian is a slayer. Unlike Orion, Julian is a pure blood. Their paths cross on the hunt and Orion finds herself unable to control the allure of Julian’s seductive powers. Yielding to her body’s instinctive, and passionate, reaction to Julian, she discovers the erotic lure of heritage, shared blood, and destiny.

Ravenous Romance is such a wonderful publisher to work with and I will be accompanied by many fine writers!

Here's a little preview:

June and Carol live perfectly manicured lives in 1950’s Mayfield, Ohio. Every Wednesday, their routine includes a mid-afternoon get-together for tea and gossip. But tea time also includes sex. Orion Masters

My vampire slayer, Orion Masters, is blogging about her life as a slayer and right now you can follow her adventures as she takes a job in Puerto Rico.  She's already blogged about leaving and checking in at the hotel.  Once night falls, she'll tell you a little about the kill.
