New novel

I am working on a new novel, heroine is Orion Masters, vampire slayer -- half-vamp/half-human. She's feisty! Off to Bora Bora to dust some vamps and finds love -- yes, with a full-blood. Why am I always compelled to write the beginning and the ending first? I guess I just want to know how it ends -- make sure its happy! But, it does make working on the middle harder.

Forward -- By my beautiful daughter, Miranda

How do I know where to go, when all of the paths are divided, where all the people stop and think, and memories are provided.

Still editing

Halfway through my last edit before I send my baby off to my cohorts so that she can be coddled, caressed, loved, and taught how to become a woman.

New Blogger

Welcome to the new world! Wow. Introductions? I am a dreamer wishing to be a writer. So, like many others, I shall venture into the world of blogging. I write romance novels that I hope may one day be published. But, isn't that every writer's dream ("prepublished" writer, that is)?

What's new? I recently finished my first romance novel. "Eternal Paradise." Vampires, of course! Adult and (mildly) erotic. The revision stages is, I have to say, much more difficult than the writing stage. Thankfully, I have the support of my husband and two terrific friends (in the great Lone Star State) who generously provide support, encouragement, and constructive criticism.

I have entered portions of the novel into two RWA sponsored contests with the hopes of getting judge's critiques that will improve my fledgling writing abilities.

When I am not editing Eternal Paradise, I write short stories. The most recent is a love story between a zombie and a zombie hunter. Seriously. It reads better than it sounds!

Wow -- blogging was more painless than I thought. Until next time . . .
